I must have tried on about 50 dress, or at least it felt like it, before I immediately stared in amazement when I saw this dress on. I was in awe over the the delicate, light ivory silk organza with embossed roses of which Monique Lhuillier has never duplicated in any of her dress designs. The texture, as you see in the photos, is spectacular. Also, the way the dress floats because of its light and airy fabric makes you feel like a princess. It didn't hurt to know that the dress was worn by Catherine Zeta Jones in green to the Golden Globe Awards.
The dress top features a corset with the organza fabric overlay that accentuates the waistline, while the ball gown style of the silhouette is very flattering no matter your shape or size, with a tulle underlay skirt adding shape to the gown. I am 5’10” and wore flats, so there is plenty of height for those both tall and short.
The dress is in remarkable condition; no holes in the skirt. Dress shows small stains on train from the dance floor, but they can hardly be seen and can easily be covered if the dress is hemmed. I am sad to part with it, but another future bride deserves to experience what I did on my wedding day.
